  4. I do prefer Good to Be Back over her previous album Everlasting. Natalie's voice is in good form on this album as she sings with maturity on adult contemporary material that suits her voice well. The songs I really like are: The Rest of the Night, Miss You Like Crazy, Don't Mention My Heartache, Starting Over Again, I Can't Cry, and Gonna Make You Mine/5(32).

  6. Great earlier stuff from Natalie Cole – actually her third great album in a row – a tremendous early creative and commerical winning streak for Natalie! Thankful has her sweet, soulful voice out from of prodcution by Chuck Jackson and Marvin Yancy of the Independents, and they give her a nice jazzy sound that made the record one of her best of the 70s. Richard Evans and Gene Barge.
  7. A great re-launch for the sound of Natalie Cole in the 80s – an album that represents a shift from Capitol Records to Epic, but which also still features work from Cole's best collaborators – the soulful team of Chuck Jackson and Marvin Yancy! The Chicago duo help out on most of the LP, Vinyl record album.
